KRB and RPB should become the reference documents in developing the regional development planning document. This agreement point also paves the way for the 2023-2027 Bali Provincial KRB and the 2024-2028 Bali Provincial RPB to be ratified into strategic documents for disaster risk reduction in Bali Province.

Considering this situation, the SIAP SIAGA Program together with the BPBD of NTB Province and the NTB Disaster Risk Reduction Forum, designed a study tool that adapted 3 models at once, referencing indicators of disaster resilient villages (Destana), the resilience of small islands and coastal areas, and sustainable livelihoods. The integration of these 3 models is the first of its kind in Indonesia.
With the strengthening of the resilience of customary villages, customary village residents will be better prepared in the future. Especially when aspects of disaster management are also included as part of the awig-awig and pararem, customary villages will have clearer guidelines. Customary village residents will also comply with these rules better.
Inclusive disaster management (PB Inklusif) encourages meaningful participation of these groups, ensuring their protection during all phases of disaster response. However, challenges such as stigma and limited data on vulnerable groups remain obstacles.
The Director of Preparedness of BNPB, Pangarso Suryotomo, said that learning from local initiatives in a number of coastal/coastal areas will serve as an important input for the development of disaster management policies.
