GATRABALI.COM, BULELENG – Dalam upaya kesiap siagaan dan ketangguhan bencana di desa/kelurahan, Pemerintah Kabupaten Buleleng melalui Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Buleleng yang bekerja sama kemitraan Australia – Indonesia menyelenggarakan Bimtek Penilaian Ketangguhan Desa/Kelurahan (PKD) dan Kebijakan Pelaksanaan PKD di Kabupaten Buleleng.
Global collaboration is important because currently, disaster risks are increasingly diverse on a wide scale, for example, the impact of climate change. In this regard, Lu'lu added that currently there is no single framework that can overcome disaster problems globally.
The stories recounted in the book are well-aligned with the HKB 2024 commemoration’s focus on coastal community resilience. The book imparts valuable insights for policymakers, specifically with regard to planning coastal area management and conservation programs.
Endy hopes that with better understanding of disasters, planning and regulations at the district and village levels will no longer be a copy and paste from previous years. We hope that the budget can be used more appropriately to help protect residents from the threat of natural disaster based on the specific risk profile at that time including climate forecasts.
Considering this situation, the SIAP SIAGA Program together with the BPBD of NTB Province and the NTB Disaster Risk Reduction Forum, designed a study tool that adapted 3 models at once, referencing indicators of disaster resilient villages (Destana), the resilience of small islands and coastal areas, and sustainable livelihoods. The integration of these 3 models is the first of its kind in Indonesia.
