The SIAP SIAGA program hosted a peer learning event to discuss why the development of DRAs in an inclusive and participatory manner is both strategic and sustainable. With more than 150 participants from across 14 provinces and national government institutions, the online event tried to unpack how and why this approach is important and to propose several policy recommendations.

The Cyclone did not only affect most parts of NTT but also affected West Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Barat/NTB) and Bali Provinces. In NTT, it affected 21 out of the 22 districts. The cyclone manifested in different forms for different parts of NTT. Most areas experienced heavy rain and floods, as well as the strong destructive wind.
