The book “Outcome Document of the 2nd Global Forum for Sustainable Resilience 2024,” held in Jakarta on September 11-12, 2024, aims to enhance discussions on sustainable resilience in addressing climate change and disaster management. This document includes discussions on the importance of international collaboration, technology integration, and strengthening local communities to improve disaster preparedness. Various stakeholders, such as BNPB, UNDP, and the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in exploring effective ways to integrate resilience into development policies and ensure disaster risk mitigation measures are implemented. The book also highlights the vital role of technology and cross-border collaboration in creating a more robust and resilient system while emphasising the need to prioritise community-based approaches and education for young generations to foster a culture of prevention and preparedness.
