Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC)

Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) is one of the supporting elements for the leadership of the Muhammadiyah Association at the Central (National), Regional (Provincial) and Regional (Regency) levels throughout Indonesia. Currently, the Disaster Management Institute has changed its name without changing its vision and mission to become the Disaster Resilience Institute as stated in the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Decree number 153/KEP/I.0/D/2023 concerning the Appointment of Leaders and Members of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Disaster Resilience Institute for the 2022-2027 Period. MDMC is tasked with coordinating Muhammadiyah resources in emergency response efforts – recovery, mitigation-preparedness, and strengthening network systems, organisation and management of disaster management resources.
