The Garda SIAGA Policy Bootcamp 2024 integrated disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation into policy frameworks through a cross-sectoral collaborative approach. This workshop engaged 26 participants from national and regional institutions.
This book, "The Coastal Community Speaks: Inspirational Stories of Coastal Community Resilience," captures the profound strength and wisdom of Indonesian coastal communities facing natural disasters and climate change. Through a collection of personal stories, it highlights how these communities have developed unique resilience practices, from mangrove conservation to local disaster preparedness, which protect both lives and livelihood.
The book "Outcome Document of the 2nd Global Forum for Sustainable Resilience 2024," held in Jakarta on September 11-12, 2024, aims to enhance discussions on sustainable resilience in addressing climate change and disaster management.
