Stephen Scott, Deputy Head of Mission of Australian Embassy for Indonesia met with representatives from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (BPBD) of East Nusa Tenggara to see how Disaster Management Operation Control Center (Pusdalops PB) is functioning and how it is progressing towards better-informed community during disaster.
The Australian Government appreciates the efforts of Indonesian Government to sustainably utilise this facility which was assisted in its building back in 2013.
Through SIAP SIAGA Program, the Australian Government supports Indonesia’s efforts to prioritise disaster risk management because we recognise the significant and complex nature of disaster risks that threaten Indonesia.
The SIAP SIAGA Program is the Australia-Indonesia Partnership on Disaster Risk Management which aims to strengthen disaster resilience in Indonesia and the Indo-Pacific Region
