This Study Report was made possible by the participation of some 500 stakeholders from across the Indo-Pacific region and beyond. They engaged in a series of 4 monthly seminars between May and August 2024, which culminated in the convening of the “2nd Global Forum for Sustainable Resilience” in September 2024. Participants brought expertise in disaster management, climate change adaptation and sustainable development. The study also benefitted from feedback during consultations with stakeholders from various sectors, including national and provincial governments, civil society, local communities, international development agencies, the private sector, and academia. Stakeholders from countries, including ASEAN Member States, Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Fiji, India, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Fiji, and representatives from the United Nations played a crucial role in finalizing the study. Their diverse perspectives and expertise enriched the discussions, leading to comprehensive conclusions that address the multifaceted challenges of sustainable resilience. This collaboration ensured that the study reflects a broad, inclusive approach, incorporating valuable insights from different regions and sectors.
