The “Dokumen Pengembangan Aplikasi SATA PB Jatim” outlines the development of a data management platform for disaster information in East Java. The platform, SATA PB Jatim, was initiated based on insights gathered from a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) held in May 2021. The document describes the challenges faced in using existing systems such as SID, SIKAB, and Banyuwangi Satu Data and the ultimate decision to use the Comprehensive Knowledge Archive Network (CKAN) as the foundation for the new platform. CKAN, being an open-source data portal, has been utilised globally and in Indonesia for similar applications. The document also details the system’s architecture, data components, and the technical prototype testing conducted by the East Java Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in collaboration with Diskominfo Jatim. The platform is designed to support disaster preparedness and data dissemination, ensuring continuous updates, system reliability, and integration into the BPBD’s operational processes.
