Lembaga Generasi Bintang Sejahtera

Lembaga Generasi Bintang Sejahtera (LGBS) is a key partner of the NTB Provincial Government in their flagship zero waste program. LGBS manages 285 community-based waste banks throughout Nusa Tenggara. In 2018, they launched a poverty alleviation initiative through waste bank enterprises in 50 poor villages, supported by a 1.5 billion rupiah grant from the provincial government. From 2018 to 2019, LGBS established waste banks in 15 villages funded by PT. HM. Sampoerna, Tbk., with a 220 million rupiah CSR fund. Additionally, they developed community-based waste banks for post-earthquake business recovery in 10 villages in North Lombok, helping to rebuild and sustain local economies.
